Rebecca joined Shift Learning in October 2011. She has extensive editorial experience having edited children’s literary magazines Puffin Post and Puffin Book Club, during her time working at The Book People. Not only did she write articles and commission content, she also interviewed key children’s authors. During her time as writer and editor of Puffin Post she both organised and ran focus groups with subscribers. These groups included both children and adults, and helped to determine the shape of future magazines and subscription models.

 

Through writing and editing copy for a range of websites and publications, and producing teachers’ notes for the publishing industry, Rebecca has gained a solid knowledge of the education sector within which she was once an English and Drama teacher and Subject Leader for A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies. Since joining Shift Learning Rebecca has been involved in both qualitative and quantitative research on a wide range of Shift Learning’s projects.
