change and develop.Front page of the 2010 training brochure

Shift Learning offers day-long and bespoke in-house courses in a number of our areas of expertise. What makes Shift Learning different is our focus on learning and our understanding of the needs of educational and academic publishers, for which the courses are designed for.

Our courses aren't generic in anyway; we use examples from the industry and courses always involve a lively discussion of current practice. You'll come out of the courses with knowledge and ideas that you can apply to your work.

Delegate Feedback

"I thought the course would be useful, but it was fantastic…more
editors should do this course!"
Vicki Donald, OUP

"Shift Media [now Shift Learning] designed and ran a session on
'focus groups' for 6 members of our marketing and production
teams. They were very flexible in putting together the scope for the
session and the agenda was customised to meet our objectives and
specific requirements. The day was thoroughly planned and well
executed. Feedback from our participants was extremely positive;
they found the session very insightful and useful (particularly the
practical, mock focus group) and the trainers were highly proficient.
They all now feel they have some excellent techniques and 'best
practice' examples to use in successfully planning and moderating
focus groups."
Jane Benson, Espresso Education

"Very useful and good quality materials given out that will be great
for reference at a later date. The tutor was very good, intelligent and
able to draw on wide experience as well as be friendly."

Wendy Tharani, Edexcel
