International Education Research

Shift Learning have a wealth of experience carrying out international education research. Our team of experts run multi-national surveys on behalf of universities, publishers and medical organisations, and have conducted qualitative interviews across all seven continents. Additionally, our multi-national telephone interviewers continue to conduct research in over 18 languages including French, Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Arabic, Urdu, Malay and Chinese. Shift Learning have conducted eSurveys in over 165 different territories, delivered in Chinese, Japanese, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and English, helping companies in the education and medical sectors identify their key territories and gain a robust understanding of what their clients require. Our international education research eSurveys have been used for a wide range projects, from establishing brand awareness to helping medical associations develop services for their members.

Our approach

Our experience in international education research means that we understand the challenges of recruiting across different continents and time zones. Many of our projects involve carrying out research across several continents simultaneously, which can be helpful for businesses looking to gain a broad sense of the international market when reviewing their products. We also carry out qualitative research internationally via online and face-to-face focus groups, and our team have helped several educational and medical organisations to understand the needs of their customers in greater depth. By way of reference, our international education research includes projects for the British Council – our team carried out over 100 in-depth telephone interviews with high level education leaders such as Vice Chancellors.
