Jack has been a Co-Director at Shift Learning for over 7 years. With more than 11 years’ experience in educational market research, Jack has developed a sound knowledge of the processes involved to ensure research projects run smoothly, efficiently, on time and within budget.
Jack plays a fundamental role in the team. He manages the operational aspects within the company, which includes the in-house IT systems and security, and has been instrumental in streamlining practices to ensure all projects fully comply with the Data Protection Act.
As Director, Jack manages the finances across the business including the company accounts and budget, invoicing, and also ensures all projects are conducted in a cost-effective and productive manner. He also supervises the recruitment of our freelancers to ensure the highest level of quality is maintained, particularly across large-scale projects.
Within Jack’s role of operations and finance, he also manages The London Viewing Room – our professional viewing facility for market research focus groups and user testing, which is located at our offices in Islington. The London Viewing Room was opened in 2012; since then Jack has overseen the promotion and marketing of this facility, driving awareness and exposure to secure a variety of regular clients.
Jack is passionate about adopting new efficiencies to ensure productivity is maintained. Prior to joining Shift Learning, Jack worked as a manager at Holmes Place gym where he developed his skills in electronic communication and administration. These skills have proved invaluable to ensuring the effective and timely execution of complex research projects.
